The Accounts Settings within RealtimeCRM offer a lot of control, and there are a few features you may have missed. In this help article, we aim to show you a few of the things you can do when it comes to both your own and your team’s Account Settings.

Changing your Profile information

Let’s start off simply with how to change your profile information, that is your Username, Password & Email Address. We understand that at some point you may change your email provider, want to rename your account or change your password for security reasons, we have therefore made sure the whole process is as quick and painless as possible.

  • Click on your Username which you will find in the top right corner of your screen
  • A drop-down menu will appear, click on ‘Settings’ from the list
  • Once you have clicked on ‘Settings’, you will then be taken to your ‘My Profile’ page
  • On this page, you have the ability to change your Username, password & email address
  • All you need to do to change the above is type your desired text in the relevant boxes and click update

Changing your Company Information

We understand that there may come a time when you move premises and get a new telephone number, or you may have misspelled your company name and want to fix it. In the Company Information section of your Settings, you can edit both.

  • Click on your Username on the top right corner of your screen
  • A drop-down menu should appear, then click on ‘Settings’
  • Once you have clicked on ‘Settings’, you will then be taken to your ‘My Profile’ page
  • Look in the left-hand menu and you will see ‘Company Information’
  • Click on that and you will be taken to your Company Information page, from there you can change your Company’s name and telephone number, it works the same way as your profile information, so all you need to do is type in the boxes and then click update

Configuration

The Configuration page is where you can make multiple changes that affect the way you use RealtimeCRM. From creating Custom Fields that appear in every record of a desired type to structuring the stages within a Project, understanding how to use the Configuration page is of the utmost importance in turning RealtimeCRM into a perfectly tailored solution for you.

  • To get to the Configuration page click your Username on the top right corner
  • A drop-down menu should appear and click ‘Settings’
  • Then click ‘Configuration’ from the list of headings on the left of your ‘My Profile’ page
  • You will then be taken to the Configuration page where you will find various options which you can change for example changing the default currency of RealtimeCRM or downloading all your data into a zip file

Adding Users

Companies are constantly expanding and taking on new staff, so we have made sure adding new Users into RealtimeCRM is as intuitive as possible. Before adding a new User please ensure you have your payment details to hand.

  • Click on your Username in the right-hand corner of the page.
  • Select ‘Settings’ from the drop-down menu.
  • Choose ‘Users’ from the side menu.
  • Click the blue Add user button
  • All you need to do is add the new User’s name, email address and your payment details and then click the blue ‘Add user’ button
  • Ask the newly added user to check their emails, they will have received an email asking them to register an account and set a password for it
  • Once they have done so their account should be ready to use
